C'River Ex-commissioner For Health, Dr. Asibong bags "Cross River Town Hall Initiative" award of excellence

                                                                                                                                         The cross river state immediate past commissioner for health, Dr Inyang Asibong has been honoured with the award of Excellence in recognition of her contributions to the robust archievment in cross River state health sector during the last administration of his Excellency Sir. Prof.Benedict Ayade.                                                               
Chief Samuel Egba, who expressed satisfaction on the performances of Hon. Dr Inyang Asibong, Stated that the people of cross River State are proud of her unflinching support towards the positive transformation of the health system in the last Four years and hope that the Governor, Sir. Ben Ayade will retain her (Dr Inyang Asibong)  so as to  do more.       
                     
 "If under her Watch the state can achieve this by structurally taking quality health care service delivery to all the communities In cross river state, then there are better days ahead with improved technology in our health system Samuel Egba added.             

Appreciating the Initiative, Dr Inyang Asibong thanked "Cross River Town Hall Initiative" for taking cognizance of her activities, policies and programs and promised to do more. Extending her appraisal message to the Governor, Sir Benedict Bengioshuye  Ayade for his supersonic performance which is evidenced on his people oriented health policies and programs aimed at leapfrogging to an ultramodern health hub center.                                     

 Continuing, Dr Inyang Asibong added that Ayade in the last four years embarked on a copious, unparalleled transformation agenda which will be density in the second tenure to create a desired impact.           
"Apart from taking qualitative health Care to all the nukes and crannies of the state, Cross River State will be one of the few states in Nigeria with the state of the art CT and MRI Scan equipment. It will offer patients with the latest diagnostic imaging services using advanced technology that will support expansion into new medical services as well as maintain patient care satisfaction; while providing financial flexibility and improved operating performance.                                                 
 Dr Inyang also explain in details the importance of   Cross River State Strategic Health Development Plan (CRSSHDP 11) and a brief on Health System Documents which is intended to create and sustain a professional health services aimed at delivering the best possible care to people of Cross River State nearest to where they live  and work .

The strategic plan will further create an  enabling environment for attaining Sectoral Goals, Increased Utilization of Essential package of Health, Interventions and strengthened Health System for delivery of package of Essential Health Services, Protection from Health Emergencies and Risk, Predictable Health care financing.

The Ex-commissioner for Health Dr Inyang Asibong, said the plan is articulated within the frame work of the second National Strategic Health Development Plan and informed by the health objectives of vision 20:2020, the Medium Term Economic Recovery  and Growth Plan (NHAct), the National Health Policy 2016 and Cross River State policy 2016.                                       

The vision of the document is to have the best quality and most accessible health care system providing effective and efficient services that  address all health needs in the state. Furthermore,  the plan is divided into five strategic pillars which addresses fifteen priority Areas, targets fifteen Goals and designed to address forty strategic Objectives of the health sector as she concludes with bunch of thanks to Her Excellency Dr. (Mrs) Linda Ayade for her unflinching supports  and goodwill to Cross River State at large.
