A Cross River State Born and passionate Model and Humanitarian Miss Aisha Esebonu, emerged winner of the keenly contested Most Beautiful Face in Nigeria (MBFN) Pageantry.
The pageantry was held in Lagos, on the 22nd Of June, 2019. Dignitaries including ex and present Miss Nigeria, Lagos state Government officials and host of others graced the event.
Miss Aisha was crowned Miss MBFN upon defeating 20 other beautiful ladies (contestants), in what was adjourned to be one of the keenly contested pageant show in Nigeria.
Miss Aisha (now Miss MBFN) who hails from Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State, south-south Nigeria, is known for her passion for modelling along side ex Beauty Queen Miss Agbani Darego (Miss World 2001). She has been on a top radar of humanitarian and philanthropic services. In her words' "I have always had passion for modelling since I was a child with the likes of Miss Agbani Darego and have always wanted to be a supermodel and a beauty Queen".
Miss Aisha Esebonu is a compassionate lady, who overtime has been working assiduously via advocacy and sensitization against domestic violence, Sexual harassment, and Child Abuse.
According to Miss Esebonu, her pet project is going to include both adult and children. "I will stop at nothing to join forces with social crusaders to fight against domestic violence which has become a recurring decimal in our society. My pet project, tag 'operation rescue the vulnerable'. Domestic violence is an evil act and a major concern in our society", She said.
On further talks, Miss Esebonu said, domestic violence has gone beyond physical abuse to sexual exploitation, rape and deceit. In her words, "The consequences of this unjust acts tend to have a long term negative effect on the victims, as Some might commit suicide going forward - thinking there is never a way out of it". "I want them to know that, suicide is never an option, as there's a way out of every situation", she added.
Lamenting on the condition of Education in rural areas, where students don't have reading and writing materials, Uniform and school fees. Miss Aisha Esebonu promises to collaborate with relevant NGOs, individuals, government organisations, and philanthropists, in making sure students in rural areas are given quality education, road side children with nobody to help are sent back to school, and those without food are given food.
Miss Aisha noted that her aforementioned pet project can only be done with assistance from government, NGOs, individuals, interest groups, and those poised at ending physical and sexual violence, child abuse, and illiteracy.
She appreciated all that supported her before, during and after the pageant show, and those willing to support her project in kind and cash.
