      The growth of Nigeria is a duty for all says winner of 2019 Face of Bakor, Joseph Immaculata Menku.

      Growing up as a child, pageantry has always been a passion, as it is a medium of highlighting and encouraging people to pay attention to the areas of life that requires serious attention such as  promoting the rich cultural heritage of the great Bakor nation.

I am a native of Nnam clan, Alok village in Ikom LGA in Cross River State. I am  a graduate of Public Administration  University of Calabar, Calabar.
I like humble, God fearing, intelligent and honest people.

our culture is our pride and our heritage, and annihilating Female Genital Mutilation is my focus for my tenure. it is a  dreadful traditional practice with its  consequences beyond words can express. Face of bakor is no doubt one of the most engaging means of achieving the required improvement in this area of concern.

      The crown of face of Bakor 2019 has given me the desired advantage to ensure this to spread useful information by educating the sons and daughters of Bakor of the importance of our culture and values  as that is what defines us. I enjoin us true sons and daughters of the soil and also to contribute more value to your society, my society and to our society
