Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following vacant Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff positions in Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, Benue State
Lecturers I, Lecturers III, Assistant Lecturers, Graduate Assistants, Technologists, Higher Technologists, Senior Technologists, Confidential Secretaries III, Confidential Secretaries II, Confidential Secretaries I, Senior Confidential Secretaries in the following Departments:- Accountancy, Business Administration and Management, Mass Communication, Office Technology and Management, Public Administration, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Fisheries and Aquatic Technology, Food Science Technology, Science Laboratory Technology, Statistics, Building Technology, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying and ICT Officer knowledgeable in networking in the Polytechnic Resource Centre.
Candidates for above positions must possess relevant qualifications with years of experience and membership of recognized professional bodies.
Others are;- RECTOR; Candidates must hold a good Master's Degree from a recognised institution of higher learning in area related to any of the programmes offered in the Polytechnic plus at least seventeen (10) years cognate professional and academic experience from a Polytechnic. Must be Chief Lecturers with not less than five (5) years on the cadre. Must provide evidence of membership of reputable professional body(s) in Nigeria. Must provide evidence of scholarly publication in reputable journals as well as presentation of invited papers in educational conferences, seminars and/or workshops. Must be proficient in ICT. Must not be more than 60 years of age as of the time of application. Possession of Ph. D in relevant discipline would be an added advantage.
REGISTRAR; Candidates must possess a minimum of a good honours degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in Arts, Social Science or Humanities with ten (7) years cognate working experience, or a Master's Degree in Arts, Social Science or humanities of at least five (5) years post qualification cognate experience, or a Doctoral Degree in the relevant discipline with at least three (3) years post qualification cognate experience. Membership of a recognised relevant professional body is mandatory.
BURSAR ;The candidate must possess a minimum of Bachelors Degree/HND in Accounting or Finance with at least Five years (5 yrs) post qualification experience. He/She must in addition have membership of relevant professional body such as ICAN, ANAN, etc and evidence of community service.
INTERNAL AUDITOR 1; Candidate must possess a recognised and good Bachelors Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in Accounting or Finance plus NYSC discharge certificate with a minimum of Three years (3 yrs) post qualification experience. Holders Master Degree in Accounting or Finance will be an added advantage. HND holders from recognised institution with professional qualification (s) from approved bodies plus NYSC discharge certificate can also apply.
INTERNAL AUDITOR II; Candidate must possess a recognised and good Bachelors Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in Accounting or Finance plus NYSC discharge certificate.
A statement by the Special Adviser on Special Duties, Chief Anawah Iorster Joseph on behalf of Council says all Applicants are to submit 15 hard copies of their applications along with their Curriculum Vitae and credentials, addressed to the Registrar, Fidei Polytechnic, P.M.B. 185, Gboko, Benue State, with the position applied for clearly indicated on the right-hand side of the envelope, and boldly in capital letters.
