The awfulness in Buhari's COVID-19 speech

... Buhari's palliative is a means to sustain the rich and sustain their corrupt means of trade.

THE ANTI-PEOPLE COVID-ONE-NINE MESSAGE, WHY WE SHOULD HAVE ALLOWED BUHARI TO REST.

I am one of those that had earlier said that Nigerians should allow President Muhammadu Buhari to rest. I said this in one of my articles, knowing fully well that the expectations of Nigerians at this moment is to hear that the federal government is going to pay some certain amount of money to Nigerians, that which I knew will never happened, and i also knew that if President Buhari is forced to address Nigerians,  a lot of people will be left depressed than how they were before the address.

I am not saying this because I believe President Buhari is not a good man, I am saying it because we run a presidential system of government where presidential handlers will jealously guard the president from knowing what is happening on the streets. The president is not allowed to see or know anything except that which presidential aides will tell him. This is done so that all forms of corrupt ideas must have been added to whatever they want the president to see, know and say, which will all turn to their corrupt advantage.

The COVID-19 presidential speech is one of those disappointing speech from the president which I do not blame him, but his handlers and author of the speech. A speech that is dressed with extreme corruption that is to benefit a very few set of people that have kept the country this way instead of the poor masses. It is quiet very unfortunate that both the Pro-Buhari' s and Anti-Buhari's are so naive that instead of looking at the substance in the speech, they are busy abusing themselves on how Buhari has shamed wailers for addressing Nigerians, or how he has said nothing.

President Muhammadu Buhari's speech today is so dressed with extreme corruption that after reading through it, I began to ask myself where we are headed to? I began to ask myself if this is the same Buhari I was told is so disciplined to have allowed himself to be given such speech to read?  In one of the instructions given in the speech by the president, President Buhari said, though the schools are closed, I have asked the handlers of the school feeding program to continue, they are to work with the States involved to find a way to continue. I started asking myself, if not for corruption, how will this people tell the president to tell the country that school feeding program will continue when the schools are closed?  In  a locked-down as we are experiencing, that it is very dangerous for people to go out, how do they want to bring out the children to feed them? Which parent will allow his/her child in a time like this to go out for feeding in school and who are the teachers to take care of them? Why will this program continue in a time like this, if not for the fact that the ultimate beneficiaries do not want the source of their corrupt income to be terminated?  A program that many Nigerians have questioned its existence because most of us are from communities that have public schools and have never seen any child being feed, why is it announced as one of the palliative measures at this critical moment when the ordinary man in the society looks up to government for help? The school feeding program for emphasy, is in very few states and schools, why is it seen as a palliative measure at this time?

President Muhammadu Buhari also talked about telling the Bank of Industry and Agric Bank to suspend the collection of federal government-powered loans for some months from beneficiaries. I laugh in wuhan Chinese language. This is another corrupt way of enriching the very corrupt elites in our society. President Buhari may not have known that no poor person gets loan from Bank of Industry or Agric Bank.  I am a life witness to how Agric Bank once said they were giving loans to farmers and ended up selling the forms to politicians and the rich in the society with no real farmer getting a dime.

Dino Melaye Reacts To Buhari's Lockdown Orders

What is President Buhari s government giving to the poor masses, I mean, the ordinary person now that we have all been asked to stay at home? What is the palliative for the man and woman who sustains his or her life from the street? All what the President has mentioned as palliative is a means to sustain the rich and sustain their corrupt means of trade. What is President Buhari giving to the very hungry Pro and Anti Buharists ?
