The newly elected executive of the National Association of Yala local government students NAYLOGS worldwide has been inaugurated into office to commence work immediately.
The comrade Aja David led executives were today inaugurated by Barr. Monday Ebiala haven been declared duly elected by the eleco chairman in the keenly contested election. The executive took time to receive their oath of office, promising to work in unison with all for the good of Yala Students across all institutions.
The worldwide president of the association, Comrade Aja David in his address emphasized that, he is for all Yala students and not for any section. Aja promised to work with all for the interest of NAYLOGS and Yala LGA.
The president kick started his government with key appointment. He approved the appointment of Comr. Ugber Alexandria and Adoga Augustine as Chief of Staff CoS and Chief press secretary CPS respectively.
A youthful progeny and promoter of peace, CEO TheEaglesVoiceblog, Comr Adoga Michael Oyi advised the newly sworn in Excos of NAYLOGS to embrace peace at all time. He urged that the Excos should first and foremost Constitute a reconciliation committee to reconcile all aggrieve NAYLOGS members. Adoga urged that, the excos should never approach any politician beggarly but with capacity and content. "the reason why politicians are interfering in students unionism is because we approach them beggarly seeking for peanuts instead of presenting ourselves responsibly" Adoga said. He urged the excos and and other students to refrain from cultism and rather focus on their education.
In same vein, the SLA to Yala 1 State constituency in Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Regina Anyogo, comr. Arueyi Thomas Odey, charged the students and Excos to focus on their studies and see unionism as secondary thing.
Comr. Rapheal Ekpo advised that, students should see Yala interest as their priority. "the interest of the entire Yala youths should supersedes our own interests". He urged the newly elected executive to work in unison with the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Yala chapter NYCN, ably led by Comr. Abraham Okayi.
Similarly, the calabar coordinator of Project1000 (an association of Yala urban professionals), Comr. Patrick Aja, appreciated the students for standing by the Union's president during his time of ordeal. "with the love shown to David i see a new and progressive yala". He urged the Excos to put the students and Yala interest above theirs.
Conclusively, the president, Comr. Aja David dissolved the Eleco body and again promised uniformity and transparency in his Government.
