...to Cushion the effects of Covid-19.
As the fight against Corona Virus intensifies all over the world especially in Nigeria where almost all the state are shutting off her Boundaries, The Akpanke Foundation through the thoughtful and Philanthropic gesture of her Founder, Mr Peter Akpanke today distributed food items like Rice, Garri, Tomato, Maggi, and Salt to Physically disabled persons, widows, Refugees and sick people to cushion the stress caused by the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
This reach out which took place at St Joseph center Obudu, (Handicapped) Becheve (Refugees Camp), Bendi (Widows and Physically Challenged Persons) and Bisu Herbal Home (Stroke Patients).
Recall that the Foundation had last week started sensitizing the people of the dreaded Covid -19 virus and donated medical items like Non-Contact infrared temperature Thermometer, sanitizers , face Mask and to complement Governments efforts in fighting Covid-19.
In the words of the Founder Mr Peter Akpanke, “Obanliku shares both international and state boundaries with Cameroon and Benue state,these factor alone puts the LGA under treat of the Virus and proper efforts needs to be channeled to educating and creating community based awareness to prevent the wild speed of the virus.
Covid-19 is real, stay safe, stay at home.
