The PDP Chairmanship candidate for Yala LGA , Barr. Fabian Ogbeche has called on his good people of Yala Local Government Area, and the entire Cross River people to give their maximum support and cooperation to the state governor, Prof. Ben Ayade on his spirited fight against the dreaded Corona virus currently ravaging the world.
Addressing some members of his Media team yesterday on the need for Cross Riverians to give their best in support of the governor's effort at staving off the dreaded disease , Ogbeche charged the law abiding residents and visitors alike to abide by all rules and regulations guiding possible spread of the disease. He advised, as a matter of necessity, that, people should always wash their hands properly, use hand sanitizer, avoid crowded areas, hand shake and possibly, minimize public outings until the situation is brought under control " He maintained that, from every indications, the world over, it is clear that COVID--19 is real. Hence the need to do every thing possible within the ambit of the rules to support the state government in her effort to save lives of the citizenry, while insisting that, nobody should take anything for granted as their lives mean so much to the government because , according to him, without the people there can be no government . On this note, he said, "we all owe a duty to do every thing we can to protect the lives of our people".
Ogbeche urged his teeming supporters to maintain peace and order in the wake of this trying moment being experienced the world over, saying "by the special grace of God, we must get over it all and continue with our activities. He commended the state governor for his proactive measure so far to prevent entry of the dreaded disease into the state.
