Dr.(Barr.) Stephen Odey the Executive Chairman CR-SUBEB and other illustrious sons of OSINA Community delebrated with RIMMCO NIG LTD. about exploration of some mineral resources/deposits in the community.
After a heated deliberation, the way forward Dr. Odey assured both parties (the OSINA Community and RIMMCO NIG.LTD) that the aim of His Excellency Senator (Prof) Ben Ayade to send the company to Yache was to further bring more developments.
The company has agreed to construct the Akreha-Bridge, Construct OSINA Yache Community roads, build schools in OSINA, provide electricity and portable water for the people,etc.
The youths kicked against the signing of agreement initially because, they have fears about the company's sincerity and integrity. However, Dr.Steve had to convince them that in as much as he is involved, the company must adhere to the agreement or else he will be the first to lead the community in Protest, the company assured the people of their sincerity to comply by the terms of the agreement, as grading of OSINA Yache road(s) shall commence in 30 days time, while the Akreha-Bridge construction commences in 90 days time, every item of obligation of the company shall be fulfilled, the company Managing Director assured.
The occasion was witnessed by the Cross River State Commissioner for Mines and Steel, Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel and several other sons and daughters of the community as the community's representatives signed the papers on behalf of the OSINA Community in Yache.
