A leading female chairmanship aspirant for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, Chief Mrs Angela Ogeyi Odey has called for calm, saying she and her supporters will abide by the decision of the party's leaders on their choice of aspirant from Okpoma.
The dogged female politician whose acceptance and popularity is gaining ground by the day stated this in a message to her teeming supporters on Thursday.
It would be recalled that the Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC), has fixed Local Government Election for February 22, 2020 and has called for electioneering processes to commence by the various political parties.

TO MY TEEMING SUPPORTERS
I want to congratulate you for a good fight. I have, with your backing, fought like a lioness and it is not yet over.
Okpoma is yet to take a decision on their choice of candidate and if they do, we will be okey with the leaders' decision.
I encourage you not to give up for we have given our best and whether you see it or not, you have made progress no matter how small or slow you may think it is.
Each challenge comes with a lesson that you can carry over the next time you try again. Every setback presents a chance for you to grow.
If you brush yourself off and keep pressing forward, you will learn something and you will earn another chance to get it right we are better than those that have not started.
I want to enjoin you to remain focused and supportive; hope is not lost.
I can assure you that it is a win win situation and good things ahead.
