In line with the mandate of the special service office in Cross River State to provide blanket security (life, food, business, property, etc) across the state, The State Security Adviser North to the Governor Ben Ayade, Mr Leo Inyambe has inaugurated a surveillance committee on illegal operations across the Northern Senatorial district of Cross River State.
The constitution of the committee is in line with the State government zero tolerance for illegal operations in the State. The special services office is collaborating with other security agencies in the state to get rid of illegal operations in across the state.
The committee has been charged with the responsibility of protecting lives, food, businesses, properties etc, across the 5 Local Government Areas of the Northern senatorial district.
The 21 man list committee has Mr. Sylvester Okongor Eruma as chairman and Mr Joseph Ikorishor Igbodor as secretary.
In attendance was Mr Achilles Akuku member anti deforestation amongst others.
