UNICAL: Dean commends PSU team, says visit in sync with management's vision

The Dean of the the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Wildlife Resources Management, University of Calabar, Prof. Ausaji A. Ayuk has commended a team from Pennsylvania State University (PSU), USA who were in his office to pay a courtesy visit recently.

According to Prof. Ayuk, their visit was timely and in sync with the thoughts and vision of the University administration with regards to positive linkages.

The Dean of Agric who commended the leader of the team for the great work they are doing and for deeming it fit to call before commencing the new phase of their study, observed that time is of the essence, as not too long after the last interface another session is already here.

"Things must be taken in their strides, and the Faculty is aware of the importance of value addition and is therefore, making the most of opportunities to be ahead", he said.
In an earlier remark,the leader of the team, Dr. Sagan Friant said that they were glad for the credible relationship with the Faculty and thought it apposite to visit the Dean on arrival before proceeding to the AFI mountains the next day to commence  their work.

It is worthy to note that the relationship has among other benefits made room for field exposure of graduate students and hands-on experience of international best practices in Wild life management.
Also in the team were; a post doctoral fellow, A graduate student from PSU and another graduate student from the Department of Forestry and Wildlife Resources Management, University of Calabar.
