SSA NORTH CALLS FOR CALM IN EKAJUK COMMUNITY OF CRS

The State Security Adviser North Mr Leo Inyambe calls for calm in Ekajuk community of Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River State.


In an extended deadly attack on Ekajuk community of Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River State by the Izzi Community of Ebonyi State that had left scores death. The State Security Adviser North had calmed the reprisal attack nurtured by the Ekajuk people against the Igbos resident in Ekajuk community.


Remember that, the Izzi community of Ebonyi State has been in loggerhead with their neighboring Ukelle community of Cross River State in a dispute over land. This lingering crisis has claimed many lives and properties.

The recent attack on Ekajuk community by the Izzi people is condemnable but the State Security Adviser North Mr Leo has also condemned and put to stop an act of reprisal by the Ekajuk people. He has admonished the Igbos resident in Ekajuk and other part of Cross River North not to worry any longer as succour has been restored, and those held captive has been released.
