Ruga and religion, the tricks involved

Ruga has come to stay is the word now from both the presidency and her supporters. In supporting this stand, the presidency have told those who cares to listen that the Jonathan's presidency which is now the bench mark for Buhari' s presidency, had also budgeted 100billion Naira for the same project but the money was misused. As a means to adding more legitimacy to why there should be RUGA, the presidency questioned if people would have reacted this way if the project was implemented by the Jonathan's presidency. This explanations by the presidency and her supporters and the rush to use Jonathan as a means to why people should support RUGA  shows there is more to the RUGA project than we are told.

There are questions the presidency must answer to put more light on why RUGA has come to stay.

1. Is this project not a National Policy, why the name RUGA?
2. Is RUGA not a Fulani language?
3. If RUGA is a Fulani language why use it to tag a National Policy?
4. If Jonathan had implemented it earlier, will it have been right to use Ijaw language?
5. Will Daura people have been happy to see a settlement in Daura bearing Ijaw name?
6. Why has the core northern States not key into the RUGA project, is it because Fulani have conquered those states and so, needs more other place to conquer?
7. Did the presidency not tell us that the people attacking Nigerians are remnants of Muamah Ghadafi' s fighters from Lybya and Fulanis from Chad, Niger and Mali?
8. Has the presidency position changed on question 7 above?

9. If the presidency position has not changed on question 7 above, is Buhari now establishing RUGA for  Chadians, Malians and Libyan snippers?

10. To give it a National spread and to accomdate everybody, will it not have been normal for the presidency to ask States to come up with their names?

For those who may not know, the religious angle to the implementation of the RUGA policy is secondary, the main aim is Fulani supremacy. In conquering northern Nigeria, the Fulanis used religion and have used it to sustained all their policies and quest to forever make the inhabitants of that region their subject. This has remained so with the use of religion to legitimize every act of the Fulanis in Northern Nigeria and these is gradually being extended to the South West region of Nigeria.

The decision to choose the RUGA name by the Buhari's  presidency is deliberate to secure the support of the Talakawas and other Muslims who will support the program without asking questions. Did the presidency  look at the future implication of establishing Fulani communities that will not respect the culture and tradition of the host communities  in all these states? Evidence abound in states like Taraba, Plateau, Adamawa, Benue,  Kogi, Nasaarawa where immediately Fulani will settle in, in parts of place given to them, they will begin to demand for a first class chief who will not be answerable to anybody. The rejection of Ruga by Nigerians should not be seen as a Moslem/Christian struggle, but a fight against future Fulani attacks.

The presidency just said that the program is not compulsory, but voluntary to States who will want to partake, what then was Ruga signpost doing in Benue State against the stand of Benue State government and the desire of her people? The presidency should know that even some states that have indicated interest to be part of it, have done so out of fear and behind the scene coercion by the Buhari presidency. Given an option, some of those State governors will not want to be part of it because they know that RUGA  is an invitation of death and Crisis upon the people.

Why not keep the RUGA in Kano that has willingly accepted this offer before it was made?
