Jubilation As C'River House Of Assembly confirms Eba's appointment

There was wild jubilation in Calabar, Cross River State  capital, and other communities, on Tuesday, as people trooped out en masse to celebrate as the Cross River State House of Assembly under the leadership of Hon Etem Jonah Williams confirmed Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba , as the Director General of Due process and Price intelligence Bureau,Cross River State.





Across the state and particularly in the state capital, Calabar residents,Party supporters and friends went on jubilation as Eba took a bow before the lawmakers after a breath-taking screening session during which the lagal guru dazzled the lawmakers with brilliant tackling of questions posed to him.


As Eba took the bow,residents poured onto the streets in jubilation. Relaxation joints bubbled, as friends served free drinks.

Friends and family members and his supporters in the  State, religious and community leaders and eminent personalities described the confirmation as a reward for hard work and vision he exuded in his first tenure as the Director General of Due process and Price intelligence Bureau.


 They urged Eba to continue to show capacity and pursue his vision of human development in his new appointment.



"This is a new beginning of greater heights in your life, which we believe you will exploit to advance the course of representative governance anchored on human development, which you championed over the years in your journey to political governance".
