The Young Progressive Party, Yala/Ogoja Federal Constituency candidate in the 2019 election Hon Ogar Emmanuel Oko, a staunch constructive critics of Senator Rose Oko has today declared his accelerated support for the senator to succeed. Hon Oko who posted his letter to Senator Rose on his Facebook account, declared that, his decision is to aid madam senator bring the desired development to her Constituency; Northern Cross River State Senatorial district, and Cross River State as a whole.

"Dear Sen. Rose Okoji Oko,
It's now many months or a year since I relaxed my pen from writing my customary copious epistolary pieces about you. Those write-ups were more characteristically developmentally motivated than political. In most, you were picked to shreds. To some, I wasn't giving you piece of mind. To me, there were aimed at keeping your upthrust in the state of buoyancy. The last piece which happened to be the pièce de résistance was the one I wrote that if you win your primary I will trek from Calabar to Yala with some conditions attached. Though eventually won and went ahead in that might to win the general election. I didn't trek as promised because the conditions weren't met again.
Ma'am Senator, a cursory look at your political voyage in direct proportionality to other women in our senatorial district, our state, nay Nigeria at large shows that you're one of the luckiest ladies to be blessed by God and mankind politically. Though, the facts aren't in contention that your feathers came through dint of hard work and consistency in putting out yourself for service.
About a week and some days ago, you were graciously inaugurated alongside your colleagues as member of the ninth National Assembly having a remarkable legislative career spanning over 8 years as a policymaker. Having been elected for second term, much is expected of you now as a ranking senator.
The crux of this piece is to pledge my total support to you. Since our constituency deserves better representation — our representatives must be supported in order for them to be able to represent well at the both chambers. That being said, I push for greater stride that will surpass your previous performance. I seek for an open and undeniable access from your esteemed office which will bring about great ideas for your constituency. I push for a selfless and patriotic service not only for the development of the north but for our state too.
If the above is heeded to; it shall be said one that there was a woman that rendered 'effective, efficient, faithful, sterling and unobtrusive but invaluable service to our constituency as a senator'.
Ma'am, while it's all the time our pen cosset you, it's equally advisable and expected that individuals with vested interest and sundry groups irrespective of political party's affiliation; different ideology and tribe should desist from raising unnecessary dust or taking actions that're inimical to the overall interest (s) of the entire Northern Cross River.
At this juncture, it's absolutely important that the Senator, Dr. (Mrs.) Rose Okoji Oko having been bestowed with the peoples' mandate will not delay to settle down to carry out her arduous legislative tasks.
Congratulations on your inauguration as member of the ninth Assembly. I wish you sound health, understanding, knowledge and wisdom in your duty as my senator.
