Ambassador Jammy Egbe, an astute administrator has taking his rural electrification initiative to the next level by handing -over the first tranche of the project cost, which signalled the commencement of work on the multi million Naira Electrification project to Utuiji community in Yehe community of Yala Local Government Area in Cross River State. This multibillion Naira project is coming after Amb. Jammy has completed and commissioned Okpenehi community electrification project few months ago under the able partnership of the World Bank. Amb. Jammy Egbe drew the attention of the world Bank to his people because of his love and connection with his people and seeing their pitiable condition became a burden to him.

We return the glory to God our creator for another opportunity to touch the lives of another long -forgotten, neglected and abandoned community. Thursday the 20th June 2019 will forever remain a memorable day in the history of UTUIJII community. The handing-over of the first tranche of the project cost today, signalled the commencement of work on the multi million Naira Electrification project to this community. Few months ago, we commissioned a similar project in Okpenehi community. Today we are here to kick-start that of Utuiji community. Lord I thank you for using me as instrument to draw the attention of the World Bank to the plight of my long neglected people . It can only be you. I must thank the entire staff of the community Development Agency for always giving passionate attention to our requests. By the special grace of God, we shall all reconvene to, again, commission this light in less than three months from now (being the completion deadline given to the contractor).
THE EAGLES VOICE MEDIA will monitor the development and report to the general public accordingly, until the project is completed and commissioned.
