In the spirit of the just concluded Easter celebration, the Special Adviser to Cross River State Digital Governor, Sen Prof Ben Ayade on Tourism, Hon Oko Sunday Ebeku on Saturday hosted Okuku Ward stakeholders of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), including leaders, women and youths at his residence.
Hon Ebeku, who is popular known as Otolo by both the old and young is the leader of Okuku Ward in Yala Local Government Area of the state.
He was out of town on official assignment during the Easter period and missed the celebration with his family and party Ward leaders and members.
While expressing his appreciation to all who attended the event, Hon Otolo condemned the recent kidnapping attempt in the community and called for vigilance urging the party stakeholders to work with government and security agencies to ensure that Okuku is safe for all.
The event witnessed large turn of notable party leaders, women and youths in the ward as Mr Otolo ensured that there was enough food and drinks for everyone.
Some highly respected leaders in attendance include Chief Paul Agi, Chief Jakpana, Hon Offiono Offiono, Hon Alora, Mr Onah Linus, ward excos, youth leaders amongst others.
