On the weekend of May, 3rd - 5th 2019, Eastside Sports Club was in Abuja to play an exhibition match with Global Foundation for Health (GFHCD).
As always they were worthy ambassadors of the brand - Cross River State as Cross Riverians residing in Abuja came in their numbers to support the visitors.
Eastside won the match 1:2, but in the words of their Chairman, Mr. Effiom Effiwatt who is also The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Sports, “our greatest victory is achieving social networking through sports. The quality and caliber of the members of the host team - Global Foundation means that mutually beneficial opportunities have been created for both Clubs.”
Eastside founded in 2009, will be marking her 10th Anniversary in December, 2019. In these time, they have traveled the length and breadth of Nigeria, building relationships through sports. “Our resolve is unshaken.
