Prof Austine Angba; The Chosen One To Reposition Crutech.

As an embodiment of versatility, the former Rector, Institute of Management Technology (IMT)  Ugep and aspiring Vice Chancellor of Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH), Prof Austine Angba has unparallel mien for hard work, dexterity, steadfastness. He has carved a niche for himself as a man with unquenchable appetite for standard education and excellence.

As former Rector, Institute of Management Technology (IMT)  Ugep, he did his job competently and diligently, taking cognizance of the fact that one cannot succeed in life, if one does not work hard. Prof Angba belongs to the paradigm of men who were not born with a silver spoon, but as the grace of God located his hard work, he became higher than those of the royal families.

Though, from Angba's family in Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, the former Rector transformed IMT Ugep beyond wonders with his gigantic projects and excellence administration.

As a man who holds the belief that education is the biggest legacy that should be bequeathed to the upcoming generation and the bedrock of the society on assumption as Vice Chancellor of the University promise to instill staff discipline with riot act read to every management staff plus Lecturers.

Angba is a man of honour with outstanding integrity whose watch-word in public service is dedication, transparency, accountability and probity. As a jovial and accessible gentleman with wits and guts, Angba believes in putting smiles on the face of students and regarded by many as a father and man with a heart of Gold.

As a result of his generosity, Angba has committed his personal resources to improve the welfare and lives of the students and vulnerable in the society. He equally believes that students should be given an opportunity to fair hearing in the institution and should not be discriminated against as a result of their challenges. Furthermore, he has provided financial supports and scholarships to staff, self trained students and indigent students in his community.

A widely travelled man who has earned various academic, social and community awards for his outstanding performance in public service including a  NANS Award of Excellence.

Austine Angba remain the choosen one. With him CRUTECH is sure of new lecture halls, new departmental and faculty blocks and expansion of CRUTECH and staff welfarism.
