The Director-General Cross River State Due Process and Price Intelligence Bureau (CRS-DPPIB) on Sunday received his grassroots friends and brothers at his newly completed residence in Abuja.
The team, which lead by the Director Works and member Yala Security Council Committee, Engr Steve Agbaka, was more like a reunion. Others with him during the visit include the SA to the governor on Taxation, Barr Godwin Offiono, member Yala Security Council Committee and GM IC World Nigeria Limited, Hon George Ogonyi, Director Planning in Cross River State, Chief Anthony Igbagri, Director CRS #FoodBank, Mr John Odey, Mr Ogar Mathew and Ebriku John Friday.
The visit witnessed a brief opening remarks by Engr Steve, a toast and heartfelt prayers by Prince Ogonyi and comments from all on their journey so far. It was a time of open interaction and engagements with the acknowledgement of the DG as a remarkable leader that needs the support of all.
The DG and his dear wife made the visit an entertaining with homemade dishes and drinks.
It would be recalled that these friends have at one time or the other served under the tutelage of the Distinguished Senator Dr Rose Okoji Oko. These are also Yala enlightened and great minds whose emergence will sharp the political thinking and trajectory in Yala, Cross River State and indeed Nigeria.
