AMAC CHAIR CONSTITUTES CABINET, APPOINTS CROSS RIVER BORN BRAVO AS SUPERVISORY COUNCILLOR

The Executive Chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido on Friday constitutes his cabinet and reappoints Hon Gabriel Bravo Oluohu as Supervisory Councillor for Environment.
The AMAC Executive Chairman, who took his oath of office for another term of three years on Monday, May 20, hit the ground running with the appointment of his cabinet members and advisers.
The reappointment of Hon Bravo as a Supervisory Councillor was received with wide jubilation by supporters and close watchers of activities in AMAC as an FCT grassroots politician, who vigorously worked for the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at both the February 23 and March 9, 2019 polls.
It would be recalled that the newly appointed AMAC Supervisory Councillor for Environment was a former Supervisory Councillor for Education as well as former Supervisory Councillor for Health. Hon Bravo who hails from Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, is popular in AMAC for his philanthropic gesture.
A statement signed by the AMAC Chairman, reads, “The Executive Chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido hereby announces the appointment of the following members of his Cabinet.
They are as follows:-
1.Rahmat Abisola Abdullahi- Council Secretary
Gabriel Bravo Oluohu – Supervisory Councillor, Environment
Murtala Usman Karshi – Supervisory Councillor, Education
Adamu Jagaba – Supervisory Councillor, Works
Hauwa Abubakar Gwagwa – Supervisory Councillor, Special Duties
Adamu Abari – Supervisory Councillor, Finance, Budget & Accounts
Justice Dakulu Jikwoyi – Supervisory Councillor, Agric & Natural Resources
Abdulwahab Musa – Supervisory Councillor, Health/Social Services.

Jibreel M. Babangoshi – Chief Press Secretary (CPS )
Hadiza Dinatu Saleh – Special Adviser, Revenue Generation
Muhammad Dan’Azumi – Special Adviser, Political/Strategy

The appointment is with immediate effect.
The statement added, “Swearing in of Council Secretary and Special Advisers only, comes up on Tuesday 28th May, 2019 at the Council’s conference hall by 11am.”
