Ayade Economic realities vs the known political dysfunctional culture.
Who is at fault?
Go round the state and sit with most Cross Riverians, what you hear is "Ayade is not listening to anyone".
Then one will ask, is that the fault with the state? Is that the problem with unemployment, insecurity, poor education, health, housing and the totality of the general state of social welfare?
From the hills of Obanliku, to the Grasslands of Ogoja. From the Forest of Boki to the Swamps of Bakassi, not one Cross Riverian will say, I have the capacity to privately take over the TINAPA, the Obudu Ranch Resort or drive privately the Tourism potentials of the state, and Ayade said no.
The confusion about our roles and the overall direction of the state, is making many think more of their own interests and agendas, and they form factions. We worry more about our status than the health of the state, our egos become touchy, and we are so obsess over who is getting more. These are the products of a political dysfunctional culture.
Consumption mindset is so active while productive mindset take the back stage. Some will say, "You are not the first, others have come and gone, yours can't be different."
Creating a contentious atmosphere, blinding the minds of the young.
The political dysfunctional culture is what is playing tricks on our minds. We are use to it, we want to keep to it.
But these are favourable battles of revolutions, inventions and innovations. Someone must be wiling to work against the known traditions, instill a collective sense of purpose. There is need for that socioeconomic force that compels us to channel efforts for a higher purpose.
Governor Ayade has refused to be dragged down by all the internal and external dissension and political gamesmanship. Not wanting to feel vulnerable, he has infuse an industrial state which mean one thing.
What is that one thing? Rather than continue with the known traditions of political dysfunctional dynamic of which tends to produce incompetent and grandiose political leaders, the industrial society rather seek for experts, skilled persons who can put their hands on the plough and Produce rather than consume.
To create practical working environments, He is introducing industries across the state in different economic growth based areas.
Instead of allowing the continual infection and transformation of individuals by the old political dysfunctional culture, Governor Ayade is altering our perceptive. Instead of focussing on the old failed ways, he is focussing on the overall industrial projects.
He want to fix the dynamic, create a productive culture, and not only will we avoid all of the evils of the past, but we will trigger a much different, upward pull within the state.
The end result is not to benefit individuals, but to create an ideal, a definite purpose. We must as a state create products that are superior and unique, that make life easier or bring pleasure or improving conditions for those in need, or solving problems with practical realities.
The Known Political dysfunctional culture therefore, is not the solution, but the industrialization dreams of our Bakassi Deep sea port, Garment Factories, Cocoa and Rice mill factories, the pharmaceutical, Noodles factories, the Poultry, Banana and Pill Factories. The superhighway and the International Cargo Airport, seem so humongous to the ears, but if other societies can do it, we too can.
