SPORT: Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has three problems ahead of West Ham Premier League game

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has three problems ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with West Ham this evening.

Manchester United boss Solskjaer will see his side host West Ham on Saturday afternoon, aiming to continue their quest for a top four finish.
The Red Devils will enter the showdown three points behind Tottenham and two behind Arsenal.
It has been a difficult season for Manchester United but, with six games left to play, fans are hoping for a bright finish to a so far turbulent campaign.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has problems, though. And Express Sport will now delve into the three issues the 46-year-old must solve ahead of the clash.

Stopping the rut

Solskjaer’s time as United boss has, so far, been positive.
Wins over Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and PSG will all live long in the memory, particularly the latter.
But United’s bright form under the Norwegian has tailed off, with the Red Devils losing four of their last five matches across all competitions.
Wolves have beaten them twice, with Arsenal and Barcelona also putting to the sword.
Stopping the rut, therefore, is an issue that Solskjaer needs to solve - and fast.

Midfield headache

Solskjaer has said he will continue to pick Ander Herrera, despite the uncertainty surrounding his United future.
But, if the Spain international is fit for West Ham, then does he stick or twist?
Fred and Scott McTominay performed admirably against Barcelona on Wednesday night and neither star deserves to be dropped.
Andreas Pereira also caught the eye that night after coming on as a late substitute.
Solskjaer, therefore, is facing a selection headache ahead of tonight’s Premier League clash with the Hammers.

Who starts up top?

Another problem Solskjaer needs to solve is United’s lack of goals in recent weeks.
When he first took the reins the Red Devils could not stop scoring. Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard were all flourishing.
But, recently, the goals have dried up.
Barcelona left Old Trafford unperturbed on Wednesday and United have scored just four times from their last five matches.
Romelu Lukaku, like Rashford, Martial and Lingard, has also misfired in recent times. So who does Solskjaer go for?
