David Peter, A representative UN SDGs Advocate and Director of Africa Farming Students' Association promote women inclusiveness in agriculture.
Peter, strongly emphasis that women plays a vital role in enhancing the development of agriculture in Africa and building rural economies. More so, Women are taking agribusiness and winning grants and loans from financial institutions due to their ever trusting commitment and dedication in food production.
He further said, they are the backbone of the development of rural and national economies and are responsible for over 60-80 percent of food production and rearing of livestock in Africa thus, to salvage food hunger and improvising food sufficiency and security across nations and regions in Africa.
Peter, laud black women as they remains the giant of agriculture in Africa there by, identifying with diverse value chains in agriculture to its end market and selling of various agricultural produces (Cereal's, Fruits, Vegetables, et al).
He said, Food Tank research proves that, If women had the same access to resources as men. The number of hungry in the world will be reduced by up to 158 Million.
He further, celebrate all outstanding WOMEN FARMERS. Assuring Africa and the UN SDGS that, There's is hope for the Sustainable Development Goal 2 (Zero Hunger) implementation in Africa 2030 with WOMEN IN AGRICULTURE.
