As we look foward to the 2019 general elections, with campaign machineries set in motion with a view to secure a second term for Sen. Ben Ayade (THE BEST YOUTH GOVERNOR EVER IN THE HISTORY OF CROSS RIVER STATE) it has come to our knowledge that, there are plans perfected by some desperate gubernatorial candidates to rig the 2019 election in our dear state, cross river state. It was further revealed that such planns are being aimed at election cancellations in some local governments to give room for rerun following which the results will be declared in their favour.
We the youth of this state and indeed the entire electorates say "NO" to this manipulative strategies that has expercially in recent times characterized our electoral process leading to the loss of confidence in the electoral body to conduct a free, fair and credible elections.
We therefore, state very loud and clear that, we shall stop at nothing to ensure that our votes count as we are determined to return our dear digital governor for a second term to consolidate on his numerous achievement
We therefore advice anybody or group plotting such idea to desist from such plans as any attempt to subvert the will of the people will be met with a spontenous reaction
We also call on Mr. President, Muhammad Buhari to sustain his established good relationship and hand of friendship he has always extended to the good people of CROSS RIVER STATE and our Digital Governor by ensuring that our right to chose our leader is respected by allowing a peaceful, free and fair elections in our state and across the country.
We appeal to INEC, security agencies and international communities to ensure that the outcome of
2019 general elections meet the yearnings of Nigerians and in line with global best practice.
