YACHE NATION CELEBRATES GOVERNOR AYADE AND H.E’s SON BARRISTER STEPHEN ODEY Ph.D FOR THE NOTABLE CONTRIBUTIONS, EMPOWERMENT, GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF YACHE COMMUNITIES.

By SaintAugustine Adula Odey

Philosopher Plato once said:  “There will be no end to the troubles of states, or of humanity itself, till philosophers become kings in this world, or till those we now call kings and rulers really and truly become philosophers, and political power and philosophy thus come into the same hands.”

A Contemporary Distinguished Philosopher and great mentor, Senator Professor Barrister Ben Ayade’s philosophy and school of thought has postulated that:
1. It takes a lot of energy to complain. instead of complaining why not fill the gap.
2. No religion is stronger than providing a shoulder for your weak brother to lean on.
3. I don’t give because I have enough but because I care enough

The people of Yache nation celebrates Governor Ayade more for the mentoring of Dr. (Barr.) Stephen Odey so well that like the mythology of Midas touch, what ever Dr. Odey does touch becomes golden.
Many of our sons and daughters have got federal and state pensionable jobs and the most important aspect of it is that he does not discriminate, what he does for his people, that same measure he’s doing it for other members of the human family.
As a grassroot philanthropist Dr. Steve has been able to carve a niche for himself, granting scholarship to students, influencing and bringing government presence to the very people through the provision of Basic infrastructures and human capital development, such as:
1. Six classroom block constructed with offices at St. Leo primary school Wonye Yache.
2. Six classroomm block constructed with offices at Community Secondary School, Ijiegu Yache.
3. Six classroom block constructed with offices and another four (4) classroom block that is two (2)    project at Yache Community Secondary School, Alifokpa Yache

17. Recently sponsored the refurbishment of the Yache Ward PDP Secretariat at the Ward headquarters -Alifokpa Yache
18. Most recently Dr. Steve through his father Governor Ben Ayade, facilitated the approval/immediate construction of a new and modern Akreha bridge, the same bridge he has personally repanned twice to ameliorating the suffering conditions of the people.
19. Facilitated the grading of Yache-Gabu feeder roads.

The chiefs, elders, women and youths joined in the celebration of His Excellency Senator, Professor, Ben Ayade the Digital Governor of Cross River State and his worthy mentee and son, haven declared their total support evidently, and in the decamping of the Yache Ward APC Executive to the PDP RECENTLY is pointer to the fact that Yache nation is 100% AYADEFIED and totally a PDP stronghold.

The above projects would have taken the people over a hundred years to raise funds to construct but our dear governor has done it for us, the past leaders who have failed to bring the presence of government to the people should not feel bad or jealous that we celebrate performance, one of the chief-in- council stated with euphoria of happiness.

#Part2 of this article will focus on achievements in other LGAs of Cross River State.
