The Management and Staff of the Cross River Universal Basic Education Board (CR-SUBEB) wish to heartily congratulate, the Executive Chairman SUBEB, Dr (Barr.) Stephen Odey on his 3 years in Office.
Sir, your achievements within these three years have been remarkable. You have transformed the basic education sector with the help of your principal, Governor Ben Ayade.
You carried out the most celebrated personnel audit of teaching staff in order to rid the sector of bad eggs and return the loss glory of the teaching profession, while at the same time ensuring that pupils get the best quality of education.
Under you, the Board has awarded over 300 school projects across the state, some of which are completed and others are still on-going. Presently, the board is about to commence 69 more projects under the 2017 UBE Intervention funds, tendering/bidding is ongoing.
We have built sickbays, water projects, storey building classrooms etcetera.
We have supplied tables and chairs, computer, solar panels, and recreational facilities to schools.
We have supplied textbooks, diaries, registers and other instructional materials to schools.
We have conducted trainings for teachers, as well as staff of the Board.
Sir, You have instilled discipline and hardwork amongst staff in the Board.
Sir, Your passion for pupils, teachers and the teaching profession has manifested glaringly in all your endeavours in the Basic education sub-sector. Little wonder, you have won several awards and recognitions from various organisations across the Country.
On this day, we re-pledge support and loyalty to you and we wish you continuous success and even greater achievements.
