Right from the commencement of the people of Cross River State voluntary endorsement of Governor Ben Ayade for second tenure in 2019, starting from the various endorsements in the southern senatorial district to that of the Central, two of Ayade support groups, "Ayade Ethical" and "Ayade Ambassadors" have consistently taken the shine and stand out in all the endorsements venues.
In all these events, the performances of the two groups were outstanding and superlative in Akamkpa, Akpabuyo, Calabar Muncipal Council dome and open field, to Yakurr, Boki, Ikom Council hall, Ogoja Council hall, Yala,Bekwarra, Obudu and Ikom township stadium last Friday.
The Ayade Ethical Group and the Ayade Ambassadors equally never allowed any dull moment at the venue of the final rounds of endorsements and grand reception organized by the people of the five Local Government Areas of the Northern Senatorial District of the state held at the Ogoja township stadium last Sturday, as they shone as billions of stars at the event.
The two groups did not only reenacted their well known and much talk about superlative performance but increased the tempo of their skills and performances at the grand reception and endorsement at Ogoja, the ancient capital of old Ogoja Province, and now the headquarters of both the northern senatorial district of Cross River State and Ogoja Local Government, but added much colour and elegant to the whole event.
Before the commencement of the grand reception, Ayade Ethical with clear cut focus to help the poor and the down-trodden in the society, had fed the poor in Obudu and Ogoja and equally distributed free petrol to members of the public at the Blessed Resource Filling Station, Ogoja.
On the other hand, Ayade Ambassadors group interest is focussed on public enlightenment campaign on the need for the people to carry out their civic responsibility of going out for voter's registration and to equally obtain their voter's card to exercise their franchise during the Local Government and General elections in the country.
Market places, motor parks and other public places are the areas which the Ayade Ambassasors carry out its enlightenment campaigns while the Ayade Ethical goes to the nooks and crannies of the state and in some occasions to reach out to the less privileged ones in the society.
Besides caring and providing for the poor, the Ayade Ethical Group also promotes ethical values in politics and crusaders of Ayade's values in politics.
The pragmatic activities of Ayade Ambassadors in the past few months in galvanizing the youths to participate actively in voter's registrations exercise has yielded bounteous dividends as the number of youths who registered and are waiting anxiously to get their cards have increased reasonably.
