The 2018 spelling bee championship themed "Cross River State King/Queen of Words" is an initiative of Impact Foundation for Youth Development: an organization committed to creating an enabling condition for self discovery, a leveled playing field for the actualization of dreams and proffering help through constructive efforts to shape destinies.
Impact Foundation for Youth Development, in partnership with theeaglevoice.blogspot.com, public and private enterprises, offers life changing programs: mentorship, yard sales; creative meet and greet sessions for young people to network and build solidarity.
She partnered with the Cross River state ministry of education to organize the maiden edition of her spelling bee championship in Yala local government area of the state. The success of that edition gave incentives to the Cross River state ministry of education to partner with the Impact World team to make the championship statewide. The championship is slated to hold in Ikom local government area of the state: March 15 and 16, 2018.
The aim of organizing the spelling bee championship is to enhance the aptitude of school children in spelling, entrench the culture of learning and correct pronunciation of words, for the sake of vocabulary development.
The Cross River State King/Queen of Words, spelling bee championship promises to be very rewarding.
