The member representing Ogoja/Yala federal Constituency Rt. Hon. Jarigbe Agom has taken to his social media handle to cautioned Cross Riverians who are linking him to senatorial seat left vacant by the late Distinguished Senator Rose Okoji Oko.
Remember,the Distinguished Senator died four days ago in a London hospital after protracted illness thereby leaving vacant the senatorial seat of Cross River Northern senatorial district.
Hon. Jarigbe Agom is the seating house representative member, representing Ogoja/Yala federal Constituency who also happens to come from Northern Cross River senatorial district. His reaction came after misconstrued post emerge on Facebook linking Jarigbe to the vacant seat.

"I am surprised that people are so insensitive to the plague that has befallen the whole world, with thousands of people dying from coronavirus. A lot of us are not perturbed by the death of other people, not even our Leaders.
Who in Cross River State is richer and more powerful than ABBA Kyari ? Where is he at the moment? No man is invincible and no one knows the next minute. Please let's put the issue of Senate in the North in abeyance. I dont want anyone to mention my name on Facebook or anywhere for Senate.
I have a mandate and I want to concentrate in delivering on this mandate as member of the HoR. It's not the status that matters but the disposition to rendering Service selflessly.
We can't have that disposition if our primary objective is to hold bigger positions for pecuniary benefits. Would anyone say I haven't achieved because the HoR is a small Office? Capital NO. On that note, pls let's honor our departed Senator and show her love even in death.
Those who are in a hurry to replace her can do so but pls keep me out. May the Soul of the departed R.I.P."
