The Special Assistant On Media and Publicity to the Cross River State Director General of due process and price intelligence Bureau, Mr. Egbara Emmanuel Ikaba has debunked any knowledge of his boss, Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba  involvement in the physical attack of Mr.Venatus Ikem at the Transcop Hotel in Calabar.

The malicious news on social media alleging that Mr.Venatus Ikem was physically attacked by hoodlums sponsored by Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba at the premises of Transcop Hotel in Calabar is not true.

Vena claimed that his attack was sponsored by Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba the incoming Cross River State PDP Chairman, apparently over the State PDP chairmanship race,this claim is only a symptom of political phobia.

Vena is laboring under the the hang over of palpable defeat by my boss and like any drowning man, vena will hold on to every straw including imaginary lies and phantasmagoria to tarnish the hard earned reputation of my boss. But everyone know Venatius Ikem as a blood thirsty soul with clear record of attempted murder of Mr Boniface Ishamali.

Venatius Ikem mission to create confusion in PDP  and return back to APC is the sole reason why APC social media enthusiasts like Ifere Paul, Joseph Odok and Co have been recruited to embark on this campaign of calumny but they have failed because my Boss will surely emerge as State Chairman of our Great party (PDP)as soon as the new congress date is fixed.

Reacting to the allegation, Egbara said the allegation was a falsehood and a figment of imagination, saying Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba, a fine gentlemen and a legal Guru who has served the state diligently in various capacities, could not have sponsored thugs to attack Mr.Venatus Ikem.

Egbara noted that on the said day there was no any sign of such alleged attack or rented crowd in the premises of the Transcop Hotel in Calabar.

At the screening on Monday, my boss received Venatius Ikem with respect and even offered him a chair to sit,
My boss also chose to  be screened  after Vena as a mark of respect.

‘’On the day of the screening our boss Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba  came like other invited personality and he never came with any thugs or rented crowd to harass anybody talkless of Mr.Venatus Ikem.

I repeat, we do not have hands nor did our boss sponsor any group of thugs to attack Mr.Venatus Ikem. We see this as part of the attempts to discredit Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba and distract attention from the main issue which is already a settled case’’ he submitted.
