The USAID are five-year funded feed the future contract entitled the "Nigeria Agribusiness investment Activity" being implemented by cultivating NEW frontier for Agriculture (CNFA), an international agricultural development organization that specializes in the design and implementation of sustainable, enterprises-based agricultural initiatives. The activity is designed to straighten the enabling environment for agribusiness financial and investment.
USAID focuses on creating an enabling environment for agriculture by working on four interested components
1. improving the enabling environment for agricultural sector growth;
2 . Broadening access to finance by mitigating the credit risks of agribusiness;
3 . Promoting and facilitating investment opportunities for agribusiness to expand scale up operations; and
4 . Sustainably enhancing the performance of agribusiness micro, small and medium size enterprises (MSMEs).
