...Says critical stakeholders were not carried along.
A group of People's Democratic party stakeholders and members from Northern Cross River, have rejected the purported zoning system which excludes Obudu/Obanliku/Bekwara Federal Constituency from the state party Chairmanship position.
The group in a statement in Calabar reiterated that, only Political Appointees of Gov Ayade and his allies where in the said meeting which held in Calabar yeaterday adding that National Assembly and State Assembly members were not in attendance which is enough to tell the world that the resolutions are solely wishes of Gov Ayade.
"Party politics isn't a family or private business, we know what the zoning system says and it doesn't in anyway stop both the Governor and state chairman from emerging from same local government area".
"Our party is in a delicate state and we won't let anyone destroy what we've built for years to crumble in a twinkle of an eye, we will defend the PDP with all manner of sincerity and purpose"
The stakeholders concluded by stating that any/every kangaroo arrangement shall be resisted.
