Convent Primary school, Idum, Mbube has witnessed an unprecedented turnaround in its infrastructure as it got a new six classroom block.
The school which was short of adequate facility to accommodate the growing number of pupils in the school finally got its prayers answered through the assistance of the member representing Ogoja state Constituency, Rt Hon Peter Odey.
The project was carried out by Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) as part of its ongoing intervention program for schools in the state has witnessed over 90 schools in the state benefiting from the program.
The leader of the 9th Cross River state House of Assembly Rt Hon Peter Odey who facilitated the project when contacted, expressed satisfaction at the quality of work done and also for being able to give quality representation to his people.
Convent Primary school is one of the oldest schools in Ogoja Local Government area and is also the Polling Unit of the member representing Ogoja state Constituency, Rt Hon Peter Odey.
