Just after two days of which the Governor of Cross River State His Excellency Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade (KSJi) made the promise to reconstruct liking bridges for the affected communities in Ogoja Local Government Area, experts and engineers have already be dispatched to site to ensure that the order is executed.
Three bridges which were constructed by community effort, and had collapsed previously, rendered the bridge impassable for medium and heavy duty vehicles deliberately to avoid total collapse.
The construction targets; the elevation of Iri Rebikem Bridge at Ogberia ogang, Mbube east Ogoja LGA.
The 15meters Ndok bridge and the 60meters Ibil bridge which was previously destroyed during the civil war.
These are three different projects in Ogoja LGA that the Governor promised them after an appeal was made by the leadership of the affected communities.
In appreciation to HE Sir Ben Ayade's magnanimity and expedient response to their request, the Chiefs, Elders and Youth of Ogberia Ogang community went ballistic in reception of the engineers on site sent by the Governor for evaluation and costing
