The Northern Youth Leaders' Forum sets to host Northern Cross River Security Summit 2019.

*The Northern Youth Leaders Forum* will be organising a security summit tagged *NORTHERN CROSS RIVER SECURITY SUMMIT* 2019.

 This program will be hosted in collaboration with the office of the State security adviser North, Northern Peace and Security Committees and the Nigeria police force.

 The objective of this event according to the organizers is to ensure sustainable and efficient security framework in the zone.

The event which will have the Area Commander, Divisional Police Officers of Ogoja and Obudu alongside the Commanding Officer Army Barrack as guest speakers. It promises to Profer lasting solutions to the security challenges in Cross River North and Nigeria by extension.

The event is slated to hold on 10th may 2019 by noon at the Ogoja local government council secretariat.

 Highlights of the occasion will include a panel session which will have Pastor Maurice Nkong as moderator,  Hon Rita Agbo Ayim,the Chairman of Ogoja Security committee,  Mr Leo Inyambe SSA- North,  Comr Bartholomew and Comr Ben Okori, SA Youth mobilization as panelists.

 HRM Uti JD Agba,  the paramount ruler of Obudu, the Paramount Rulers and traditional leaders of the Northern senatorial district and Ntol George Nsor, Clan Head of Ishibori are expected to grace to occasion.

OBJECTIVES:

1) To strengthen collaboration of host communities with security agencies.

2) To make traditional leaders and youth leaders responsible for communal crisis.

3) Design  a security architectural framework for sustainable security in the region.

4) Increase and strengthen community policing.

5) Create and more security conscious society.
