Thousands of Cross Riverians and other Nigerians turned out to attend and receive free medical treatment and other medical checkup in the first day of the "Thank you" free medical outreach sponsored by Governor Ben Ayade, under the Ayadecare Home Health programme.
The programme which currently ongoing at the Ayadecare Home Health Centre, 503 Old Odukpani Road. Ikot Ansa, Calabar, is attending to patients with chronic diseases,, provide free medical test and free medications, free consultations, free Eye test and free Dental Examinations.
While the programme was/is ongoing, the governor himself drove through the area and was cheered by a happy nad enthusiastic persons and those who came to be attended to by the medical officials.
Declaring open the Ayade "Thank you" free medical outreach programme open, Director General, Ayadecare Home health, Dr. Genevieve, disclosed that the exercise was part of a thank you gesture for the people of Cross River State who turned out enmass to vote him for the second term.
She commended governor Ayade for providing an opportunity for the ordinary people to receive qualitative and free Medical attention ranging from free consultation, treatment for all chronic diseases, free medications, free medical test, free eye test and free dental examinations.
The Director General commended the governor for having the interest of the ordinary persons at heart, and charged the people to take advantage of the programme to check their Health status and receive free medications.
The exercise will continue tomorrow, Tuesday, May 28, and will be rounded same day.
