Dr. Betta Edu, DG Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency demonstrated her humane and kind nature yesterday at Holy Family Hospital, Ikom where a set of premature triplets were successfully delivered to the family of Onung Anchor Okoi.
The DG who gave immediate support to the family demonstrated beyond expectation that her service to humanity is not just restricted to her professional service, but she is committed to the course of helping people, rendering humanitarian services as well as caring for people.
The DG must be commended for timely provision of generator and fuel for Holy Family Hospital, Ikom to run the incubator for the triplets. Besides, she provided food and clothes to the patents to cater for the family.
She has called on government and her staff at Ikom, to give the necessary support to the family of the triplets and their family, while commending the workers at Primary Health care Centre Ofunbogha for their promptness in attending to the family as they have taken the right step by referring the family to a higher health level.
Cross Riverians remain grateful to His Excellency, Senator Prof. Ben Ayade and Dr. Betta Edu for their laudable stride in the Health Sector in Cross River State.
