The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Ben Ayade had on Monday led a delegation to visit the government of Taiwan for more robust investment.
The governor Ben Ayade, his Wife Linda Ayade, Commissioner for Health, Inyang Asibong, Commissioner For Finance, and the team are being joined today by Dr Betta Edu, Director General, DG, Cross River State Primary Health Care Development Agency who was called upon by the Governor to join the team to explore ways to expand access and quality of health care delivery in Cross River State.
The delegation Led by Sen Ben Ayade, met with Taiwan External Trade Development Council, (TETDC) President and Chief Executive Officer, (CEO) Mr. Walter M. S. Yeh who listed all the opportunities available for an improvement trade relationship between Taiwan and Cross River state.
Continuing, Betta Edu informed weetalknaija Blog that “there is also an offering to host the next world biggest trade fair in Calabar, Cross River State”.
She said the team had in the early hours of today proceeded to World Trade Center for a symposium in Taiwan- Nigeria investment and business promotion.
Weetalknaija Blog report that, the Governor, Ben Ayade who met with over 100 investors led by Mr Jeff Sun, chairman Taiwan – Africa Business Association and Mr Jack S. Y. Lin, Chairman of the Export – import Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) amongst others, explored investment in agriculture, infrastructure, Health care industrialization.
She said the team is expected to proceed to CHENG CHING Hospital in Taichung to meet with investors that are expected to invest in the Health Sector in Cross River State.
