The Governor of Oyo State, Senator Ishaq Abiola Ajimobi, on Sunday directed the nine members of the House Representatives elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Oyo State to toe party line by ensuring Femi Gbajabiamila emerges the speaker of the nineth House.

Governor Ajimobi gave this admonition at a meeting held on Sunday with the Honourables-elect in his private residence in Oluyole Estate, Ibadan.
Responding, on behalf of the legislators, Rep Akeem Adeyemi, who also doubles as the APC Southwest Coordinator of Gbajabiamila Speakership Campaign Council , appreciated the Governor for providing a sound leadership and positive direction for the party, and promised the Governor their full cooperation, after each member had spoken in acceptance of the Governor’s endorsement of the House Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Meanwhile, Rep Olusegun Adebunmi Bunvic, another ranking member in the Federal House of Representatives, pledged his unflinching loyalty to the party and promised to abide by the Party’s decision on the choice of Femi Gbajabiamila as the Speaker of the 9th Assembly.
