Nick Knowles, 56, swapped renovation work for the kitchen as he dropped an hilarious admission following his time on the ITV series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! . As the TV star prepped food in the Sunday Brunch kitchen,
Channel 4 host Tim Lovejoy, 51, quizzed the presenter on his infamous red underpants, which he was pictured wearing while in the Australian jungle. Showing a snap of the small-screen favourite in nothing but his tiny briefs alongside his jungle co-star Emily Atack, 29, Tim cheekily poked fun at the star. Nick spilled: “I made a dreadful mistake. You're allowed to take in three pairs of underwear and three pairs of swimming trunks.
“I took in three pairs of white pants. Now the red trousers you wear in the jungle aren’t red, they’re dyed red because they can’t get hold of red trousers.”
He explained how the camp's famour bright bottoms completely ruined his fresh white briefs.
The DIY SOS host continued: “The first time you get them wet, which is basically on the first day, they bleed all the redness out onto your white underpants, so it looks like you’re wearing some sort of Halloween ghoulish accident underpants situation.
“So I couldn’t wear my white underpants for the rest of the show, because they honestly looked like I’d been in some kind of accident.
“So I was only left with my swimming trunks and the red pants which I managed to keep covered until about week three,” he added. “At which point, I just thought I don’t care anymore.”
The Sunday Brunch stars were not done there and quizzed him further on the memorable pant
