A group, The Pan African Good Governance Council has named and honoured top ten best performing appointees in Cross River State in her annual Good Governance Indicators program.
The PAGGC Medal and Recognition Awards, driven under the Good Governance Indicators program to measure suitable individuals in governance who have shown excellence in service delivery in all African countries yesterday published the top ten performing appointees in Cross River State
Speaking during a press conference in Abuja, Dr. Mrs Elizabeth Kambai, director, Bureau of Intelligence and Research said “There are always fewer honours and awards than people who deserve them. Because receiving honours and awards from the PAGGC are so rare, they are reserved for people who have achieved excellence in their field, people who have made significant, observable changes or accomplishments in their roles in governance.

Speaking further, Dr. Kwambai noted that the assessment was hinged on the following; people whose work has benefited the people in their field or activity, people who have encouraged and exemplified the virtue of good citizenship; people who have shown ongoing initiative, leadership and dedication; people who have earned the respect of their peers and become a role model in their field; and people who have demonstrated innovation or creativity in delivering lasting results among others.
She said “the PAGGC believes the Medal and Recognition Award will encourage individuals in leadership and government to aspire to become role models, succeeding against the odds, making a difference and becoming ambassadors of good governance in Africa”
