Chief Asuquo Asibong (SABATA), Chairman Calabar South Security Committee yen an emergency meeting in his residence due to his curiosity to harness peace and oneness in calabar south local government council.
In attendance was distinguished personnel's Rt. Hon. Magnus Edet, Frm. Vice Chairman Calabar South, Chief Ekpenyong and other prestige members of the Security Council, Calabar South LG.
The chairman, strongly emphasis to members of the council to promote peace and togetherness as to improvise the community and create revenue to boost the state economy. He added that, he'll not tolerate any form of cult clash in calabar south so therefore he appeal members to put on the garment of evangelising love and peace across wards in calabar south.
He added that, the council have propose to meet with the traditional rulers and stakeholders in calabar south to strengthen the security of calabar south in collaboration with the commissioner of police.
Magnus, Frm Vice Chairman Cal. South applaud the committee members on their effective measures to curb cult clashes in calabar south. He advised, the committee members to strengthened their partners and collaboration with dynamic and vigorous security agencies in the state thus, to improvised a sustainable measures to safeguard the good people of calabar south and promote entrepreneurship in the locality.
Chief Asuquo Asibong, further unleashed collaborate with the head of council, HOLGA to path an abandon site which have been uninhibited for over three years in Afokang, Calabar South. He added that, the project actualization will ease motion, better the environ for residence and generate more revenue for the state and council.
He concluded, with a sincere apology to members of the council for hosting an official meeting in his residence. Alarming, it is contingency and there's need to curb cult threats in the community which is the council fundamental purpose to secure and to provide for the welfare of the people.
