Breaking: We’ve Decentralised Power Production In Nigeria, Says Osinbajo

    

 

Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has disclosed that the Federal Government have decided to decentralised power distribution in order to encourage private investors to collaborate with private independent power plant to supply power across the country.

He stated this while delivering a speech titled; ‘Nigeria Rising: The Path To Prosperity’ at the Unilag pre-convocation lecture in Lagos on Monday.

Osinbajo said that the move was made possible by eligible customer declaration by the ministry of power, works and housing.

“By this collaboration we have been providing powers with the private sector provider, especially the solar power and markets across the country.”
