Senator Benedict Ayade of Cross River State has broken all records with less than four years in office, he has shown himself as a leader who is eager to lead his people to the promise land.
Even in the midst of our countries economic downturn, he has proved to be the landed eagle, setting and braking records. Gov. Ayade style of governance is still a puzzle to some, what is the magic?
Has been a question that some of my friends in and outside the state have asked repeatedly.
The answer is simple: simplicity, determination, prudence, accountability and focus. These are the attributes of Senator Benedict Ayade.
Cross River state is on the right track for great success under Ayade administration. He always seeks workable solutions from professionals that will help attract development in the state.
Research conducted has shown that for any nation or state to move forward economically is of paramount important to engage professionals that will provide workable solutions that will uplift different sectors of the economy.
This brainstorming is geared towards attracting foreign investors that will invest in the state.
This was the aim of Ayade's recent meeting with so many world leaders to seek for solutions for his people .
His move is geared towards generating great inflow of foreign investments into Cross River State and helps the state on our match towards diversification of the economy.
It is a matter of urgency we look beyond the black gold for survival. Let us focus on agriculture, trade and commerce, mining, technology and industry for a possible way of diversifying our economy. On this note I commend Senator Benedict Ayade in his effort towards the transformation of agricultural sector in the state, making Cross River once again the power house of SMES in Nigeria and a reference point of Agricultural revolution.
Cross River is now the commercial hub of the South~South states . It is also a melting pot and this why the Governor has set out to address the challenges of the roads across the state with massive road Construction.
Cross River State now represents the resilience and enterprising spirit of Nigeria and serves as a point of convergence of men and cultures.
That is why upon taking over the mantle of leadership as governor of Cross River State Senator Benedict Ayade began the infrastructural transformation in Calabar and other parts of the state.
It has come to bear that the economic success of any state in Nigeria today depends largely on its level of investments and harvesting its internal potentials, that led Gov. Ayade to lunch the entrepreneurial revolution by sponsoring campaign aimed at promoting made in Cross River products; creation of state owned industries and the human capacity development programs.
The infrastructural and socio-economic development of Senator Benedict Ayade in the state has also given a facelift in the education and health sector, the testimony is there for you to testify.
The Governor, who embarked on the economic revolution of the state, has great enabling environment for the Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMSEs) in the state by laying down good policies for them and making Cross River the largest SME capital of Nigeria through the spirit of enterprise.
Senator Benedict Ayade recently sponsored over 50,000 Cross Riverians on the field of garment, agriculture and leather making ,which will on the long run take Cross River State-made-products into global recognition and as well increase the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the state.
Senator Benedict Ayade leadership in less than four years in office has been eventful and the leader has shown clear signs that he is prepared for the task. And Cross Riverians are happy that a true leader is here.
