Guber poll: Ezama canvasses women’s support for Ayade.

March 07,2019

…Thanks women for wonderful support in Presidential and National Assembly victory in Cross River State.

The Cross River State Child protection Commission Chairperson, Chief Mrs.Theresa Ezama
says the support of women of Cross River State was largely responsible for the electoral victory and achievements of the Senator Benedict Ayade -led Cross River State Government since inception in 2015.

Ezama, who said Ayade/Ivara ticket still counts on them, prayed Almighty God, who sees their fine works, to bless the women who had massively turned out, today (Thursday) in Yahe, Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State mega rally for Ayade/Ivara 2019 under auspices of Cross River Women of substance.

“I am here unbehalf of Governor of Cross River State, Senator Benedict Ayade who appreciates your effort. I want to thank you for your wonderful support. I recall that in 2015, you women crisscrossed the nooks and crannies of Cross River State just to ensure that the Ayade/Ivara gubernatorial ticket succeeds.

You will go with Almighty God’s blessings and continue to enjoy our logistics support”, Ezama said.

Ezama said the group’s support for Ayade/Ivara is predicated on the sterling and glaring performance of the present Cross River State administration.

Ayade led government has touched lives of Cross riverians including youths, women, widows, adding that Ayade dared the seemingly impossible by bringing the world to Cross River State in the new face of Cross River State.

Chief (Mrs.) Ezama said the group was increasingly successful in its ongoing massive mobilization of women across the state, even as she declared the first Monday of every month, to the election, a women fasting day for God Almighty’s power to dislodging every barrier towards successfully returning Ayade/Ivara back to Government House .

The rally was attended by women from all the communities in Yahe ward, all of who danced past to the accompaniment of music, in their colours. Also present were the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftains Dr.Julius Okpotu, Chief Mrs.Angela Ogeyi Odey ,Hon.Cynthia Nkasi amongst hundreds of others.
