Opposition releases documents showing massive looting of Kano Treasury and withdrawal of huge resources for vote buying in LGA where supplementary elections will hold.

...CUPP wants Bhari EFCC to arrest Kano, Bauchi, Adamawa govt officials engaging in looting of state accounts for supplementary elections or close the agency for been useless.

The Opposition Coalition CUPP have obtained documentary evidence of ongoing financial bazar and strange cash withdrawals and payment to LGAs where the rescheduled elections will hold in a bid to engage in vote buying and compromise of Electoral officials and Security agencies.

The cupp is in possession and now releasing an approved payment authorisation which the Unity Bank is presently carrying out by making bulk payment into the accounts of local govt in Kano which have the polling units where the rescheduled elections will hold. The sudden authorisation for withdrawal and disbursement of over 223m was done through the ministry of local govt in Kano and currently been implemented by the Unity Bank branch on Sani Abacha Way Kano State.

We have also intercepted information on strange withdrawals running into Hundreds of Millions from the local govt and State account in Bauchi, Adamawa and some Federal govt agencies with a bid to engage in massive vote buying and COMPROMISE of electoral and security officials .

The refusal of the Buhari regime and his EFCC to stop the ongoing reckless looting of resources of the poor masses in those areas where supplementary election will hold have shown that the Buhari war against corruption and the EFCC agency is turning into a child’s play which only becomes serious when been used to blackmail opposition leaders. Let the Buhari EFCC arrest the top officials of these states especially Kano, Adamawa and Bauchi who are stockpiling public funds for vote buying.

The CUPP wish to call on voters in those areas where supplementary election will hold in Kano, Bauchi, Benue, Sokoto, Adamawa and Plateau to start mobilisation for operation defend the polling unit and keep eternal vigilance like the people of Ondo State did in 1983 to resist the rampaging Federal forces that attempted to subvert the will of the people.

Let the independent fearless spirit of the people of Kano, Bauchi, Benue, Sokoto that guided their fore fathers be brought to the fore on the date of the election. The peoples power when combined together is the greatest force on earth. We urge you to defend your vote with the last energy in you and do not retreat nor surrender till the final announcement.  As we salute the Kano people who rejected the Buhari backed shameless Ganduje’s corrupt regime and went further to resist and arrest the deputy Gov who wanted to tamper with the peoples vote. We urge all voters of the remaining places to draw strength from the heroic action of Kano people and resist anybody no matter how highly placed who makes any attempt to manipulate the election.
