FELICITATION..
The holy book tells us in Eccl 3 vs 2 “a time to be born, and a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted;” (ESV). This applies to our case in Nigeria as we just had our General elections.
It is on this note therefore that I want to congratulate all who have been elected to represent the interest of the masses in their respective capacities.
As you merry and celebrate your victory at the polls alongside collection of your certificate of return from INEC (for those who have collected, especially our elected National assembly leaders), I will love you to bear in mind that the masses are all expectant to see the better life and laudable developmental projects and representation you promised them, this is therefore a time for deep retrospective and strategic thinking leading to effective planning and execution/fulfilment of your campaign promises.
I pray the goodwill and mandate benevolently given you by the masses is not abused nor taken for granted. I promise to be a good citizen/follower and contribute my quota to bring to bear the society we long and dream to see. I will therefore criticize CONSTRUCTIVELY when/were needed and APPLAUD/SING YOUR PRAISES TO HIGH HEAVNES when the interest of the people is done and development/success is achieved.
During the electioneering period, many bridges were destroyed, relationships broken, families torn apart, many were hurt and some disappointed, I therefore beg that as a people we don’t allow ourselves to be divided by happenings of the past or by the aspirations of any politician to break the bond of unity which exist amongst us as there can’t be any reasonable development where peace and unity is seen as a Stranger.
To our elected leaders I believe it will be more rewarding if you bury/kill every urge of witch hunting as this will deter us as our energy/focus will be divided.
Let’s us therefore unite, holding our hands shoulder to shoulder, mending the broken walls, and as a family settle all our political differences and build the Yala, Northern Cross River, Cross River State and Nigeria of our dreams. Remember, no one will build or bring development to us, it is therefore our collective responsibility to rise up to the challenge.
To all who contested during this elections especially the young, energetic and vibrant men and women who joined in the race to add beauty to our political system with a craving to challenge and change the status quo, I appreciate and applaud your determination and doggedness. I believe the experience and lessons learnt was worth it after all. It’s now time for us as youth to come together knowing that synergy, unity of purpose is our best bet and that we can achieve even greater heights when we work together rather than staying divided.
In all let us push for a better society, by our actions and not just wishes or words.
Congratulations Hon. Regina Anyogo

Congratulations to all Elected leaders in Cross River State and Nigeria.
I pray that the industrial drive been championed by this administration leads us to a point where together we shall shout EUREKA as by then CROSS RIVER STATE would have written her name on the sand of times as a TRIAL BLAZING/PACE SETTING STATE.
THIS IS POSSIBLE...
God bless Yala Local Government Area
