As part of activities to receive APC decampees in Mfamosing, Akamkpa back to PDP last Saturday, a free medical exercise and advise was sponsored and carried out in the area by Grand Evolution, a political Support Group rooting for the reelection of Senator Ben Ayade as governor of Cross River in the March 2, 2019 gubernatorial election, in which more than 200 persons were given attention.
Giving reason for incorporating medical outreach into the programme of the day, the Director General of the Support Group, Mr. Gabriel Abegim Adah, said that the leadership of the group decided that they should use the opportunity of the defection of APC members to PDP to carry out the good work.
Mr. Adah explained that the Chairman of the group and founder, Lion Achu Fidelis and other members of the leadership of Grand Evolution reasoned that it was proper to use one stone and kill two birds by receiving the decampees and at the same time carry out the free medical assistance.
The Grand Evolution DG maintained that apart from the main group's main objective of ensuring that governor Ayade secure a second tenure come March 2019, the political support group is equally committed to do good to all manner of the less privileged persons in the society.
He therefore called on the people to ensure that they obtain their PVCs and vote governor Ayade and other PDP candidates for the forth coming general elections.
Adah reasoned that it will be to the best interest of the people of Cross River to vote for Ayade so that the monumnetal development in agriculture, human capital development, industrialization, among other areas that are ongoing in the State cannbe sustained for the interest of both the present and future generations of Cross Riverians.
